Dossiers, stage templates and summaries can be exported by the user. An export is produced only when the user chooses to create it, and the resulting file is saved or sent to the location the user selects. The application does not export or transmit content on its own, and the company does not receive a copy. Once an export has left the application, its handling depends on where the user chooses to save or send it.
Matte Estate Rental includes contact actions that may open the company website in a browser or open an email client to compose a message. These actions take place only when the user selects them, and they hand over to the relevant service on the device. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices. Where a user emails the company, the company receives the sender's email address together with whatever the message contains, and uses it to answer the enquiry and keep a record of the correspondence.
Individual entries can be deleted within the application, and a clear-all option is available for removing local content in a single step. Local app data can also be removed through Android device settings, for example by clearing the application's storage, or by uninstalling the application, which removes the application's own storage from the device. Exported files are not affected by these actions and remain wherever the user saved or sent them.
Local dossiers, notes, status selections, dates and attachments remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears the application's local data or uninstalls the application. The company does not hold a copy of this locally stored content, because the core workflow does not send it to the company. Local app content stays within the application's storage on the device, and protecting the device itself, for example through the screen lock the user configures, remains with the user.
